There is not a way to shrink it.

If you delete the files, then the information related to trades in the Trade Activity Log will no longer be available. If it is not important to you to have/keep that information, then you could get rid of all of the files. Just make sure you are flat in your positions at the time and exit Sierra Chart, then you can just delete everything.

Otherwise, if there are certain things you want to keep, then you would need to determine what to delete and what to keep. Keep in mind the files specify the date and trading account, so you should be able to figure out what you would want based on the file naming convention.

You definitely need to clean up that folder. Refer to:
Trade Activity Log: Trade Activity Not Displaying or Clearing (Improving Trade Activity Query Performance)

Delete the files that which are excessively large or you do not need. You can directly and easily delete those.

i need the data
avg. file size is 5MB
can i route it to another disk?
the reason i am asking is b/c i have 1 instance for live and 1 for sim (#2) and in #2 i have the big folder stated above. when instance #2 is open, the overall computer performance are lagging especially the mouse tracker.
my SC is on a separate nmve disk
i thought if i could move the logs to another disk it will be working ok
pls advice
thanks

another feature which could solve this is to auto save into csv format (expecting a setting menu which will define what type/period to save and than it will save all)

No not directly. Maybe there is a way to do this at the operating system level. You can also relocate your entire Sierra Chart installation to its own storage device.

the entire SC has its own dedicated nvme disk
are you familiar with that issue (mouse freezes when another instance is open which has so many logs)?

This sounds like an operating system/hardware issue.

Reduce the size and number of logs which can be accomplished by deleting the files.

We cannot provide any further help.
