Hi everyone, I have all charts on my chart booklinked through link number 1. Most charts are using Link Type - Symbol only. A couple of charts are also linked by position and vertical scale (in addition to symbol). Issue I face is that if I alter scale of one of the charts that has Symbol only link, it also affects charts that have link by position and vertical scale. I ended up having to move those charts to link number 2, which is not ideal. Is that expected behavior, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks! |

What you are seeing is how the Linking works. From the documentation for Chart Linking: The particular Chart Linking option which is enabled on a chart, affects that chart if the corresponding action is performed in another chart with the same Link Number. So in other words, if there is chart 1 and 2, they both use the same Chart Linking number, and chart 1 has Chart Linking >> Scroll Position enabled and chart 2 does not, then scrolling chart 2 will scroll chart 1.
