When I change the value in "Primary Orders" for "Stop-Limit Order Limit Offset", the offset remains the same in live trading. Is this offset being set by the clearing firm or exchange, overriding Sierra Charts ?

Does anybody else see this as an issue? I trade through Advantage using Teton.

We apologize for the delay. We think the problem is what is described here:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Trade Window Settings Not Applying to Chart or Trading DOM (Trade Window Settings Not Applying to Chart or Trading DOM)

I followed your directions and made sure that the trade window in both the Dom and the Chart were changed to the same offset, but still no change. The offset for Primary Orders does not change when initiating orders although the offset has been changed in the trade window for both the Dom and the Chart.

O.K. I am now able to make the offset work. I had to change the setting in the "Chart DOM Settings" for Order Types from Buy Stop to Buy Stop-Limit and the same change for Sell. The strange thing is that in live trading my positions were initiated with Stop-Limit even though the Chart Dom Settings was set to Stop. In sim mode everything worked proper. I find that when I change Order Types in Sim mode...no problem. It will switch from Stop Limit to Stop with no problems. But in live trading if I change from Stop-Limit to Stop and vice versa there is no change. My orders come as Stop-Limit although in "Charts DOM Settings - Global" Orders types is set to Stop

Yes this is true. The CME does change Stop orders to Stop-Limit orders.
