For windows 7 based systems:
I am using rithmic data & Sierracharts. What is a/the recommended anti-virus for these products? What AVs do the developers at Sierrachart use? Any and all input is much appreciated. Thank you. Also, How much would encryption slow the system? Will it slow it at all?

Please be aware of support policy:

In all of the above cases please know your message has been read, wanted features are considered, and problems with the software will be corrected. You are most welcome to post messages about these subjects and to discuss these with other users. Your message may be replied to by other users. However, do not necessarily expect a response from Sierra Chart Support as these go beyond the standard support we provide.

There is no need to "bump" threads.

I believe Microsoft maintains a list of compatible / recommended anti-virus programs to use with Windows 7, and that recommendations to install an anti-virus are presented by the OS if one is not already installed. For more support on this, you may wish to ask Microsoft. Generally, there is no "recommended anti-virus" for particular programs. It might be helpful to use a search engine to discover which anti-virus programs are in use by other Sierra Chart users and if there are any known issues e.g.
https://www.google.com/search?q=anti+virus+site:sierrachart.com

Questions about encryption are beyond the scope of the support here - you may wish to consult the vendor / developer of whatever cryptosystem you propose to use. Full disk encryption on modern hardware is unlikely to add noticeable latency for most use cases.
