I have a computer set up with 4 monitors. Each of these 4 monitors has a new instance of Sierra Chart running. Each of these new instances is running its own Chartbook. When I shut the computer off and restart all of these as a Chartbook Group all that happens is that they all open up in the first instance of Sierra Chart that I opened.

Is there not a way to open up a chartbook group and have each instance automatically open up separately on each monitor that it was previously on?

You do not want to use a Chartbook Group in this case.

What you need to do is set this setting:
General Settings Window: Instances to Run on Startup (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> New Instances)

to:
2, 3, 4

That worked great for opening each instance. The only problem now is, that only in instance #2 does it open the proper chartbook. In instances 3 and 4 it opens nothing.

I see under General Settings, General 1, that one can add files to open on startup. How does one do this while assigning the files to the instances you want them to open in?

Thanks.

In each instance you need to specify the Chartbook you want automatically opened, by using this Setting:
General Settings Window: Select Files to Open On Startup (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Startup)
