My add-in Zones drop out when re-activating them to rewrite them or other reason. The window has no zones then. The only way I can get them back that I know is exit the program. When I restart Sierra Chart the Zones all write okay. Is there a way to rewrite one window to get the Zones after they have disappeared? Can one window, as a trading window, be reloaded as if it were started with the starting program? Tom Ellis |

We really do not know what you are referring to. Are you referring to a study added to a chart?: Chart Studies Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Can I reset a Window that has a study that plays a text file to draw zones on a chart? The only way I know to replay the text file to draw the zones is re-start Sierra Chart. I would like to redraw the zones without having to re-start the software. Tom Ellis |

Yes what you can do is go to that chart and select Chart >> Reload and Recalculate: Chart Menu: Reload and Recalculate (Chart menu) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you. But that did not reload the window as it is set up when the program starts. Here are two lines of the text file that writes the zones: 4740.25,4743.25,R,Normal 4731.75,4733.75,R,Normal What can I do to get the zones re-written without re-starting the program? Tom Ellis |

It sounds like you are using a custom study, therefore you would need to figure out why these items are being removed and not redrawn. We simply do not know.
