Dear Support Due to changes in my trading strategy I've changed my Intraday data storage Unit from 1 minute to tick (now need a higher resolution). Can anyone answer the following re the SCID data file: 1) Will the Tick Data only be recorded from the time of the change? 2) How far back will Sierra Chart go to download Tick data? 3) Do I need to delete and rebuild the current data file and if so will I loose the use of my many years of 1 minute date? 4) Is the Tick file a different file to the 1 Minute SCID? 4) Once set to Tick , as opposed to 1 minute. Will Sierra continue to record and update missing tick data indefinitely? I anyone can help with these questions it would be appreciated. Many thanks |
