Scalping with tick charts requires making decisions in a split second. Drawing trendlines accurately is key. Since many times you need to quickly adjust them and anchors are hidden, marks need to be activated.

Problem is that marks hide the price action (they hide part of the candle). That makes it very difficult to notice at a glance where the trendline is anchored, if at the extreme or the close. That difference may mean a costly mistake! Please refer to the image attached.

I love SC, but I have been struggling with this for a while now. Please fix this in the Ray tool, by either giving the option to make anchors visible or by making the marks hollow. Thank you very much.

What you are asking is something we would have to add support for, therefore we have marked this as a Feature Request.

We do want to point out the few options for anchors that are available. You will find the documentation for this starting at the following link and the 2 sections after it:
Chart Drawing Tools: Square Drawing Anchors (Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> General >> Anchors)

Appreciate your reply, John. This really affects my ability to quickly adjust the trendlines. Maybe there is something I'm missing? This is what I have been doing:

In Tool Settings I found 3 options for personalizing anchors. However, once the trendline is drawn, the anchors disappear. So, if need to quickly adjust the trendline later, I end up moving it or adjusting the wrong anchor. Simply because I can't see the anchors anymore. Is there no option to just have the anchors always visible?

As I couldn't find that, I activated the marks. That allows me to reliably adjust the trendline with only 1 click in the mark. But the marks hide the price action. So, that creates the problem mentioned in my first post.

I didn't mean to ask for a new feature. I just want to be able to see where the trendlines are anchored and quickly adjust them with only 1 click. Please advice.

The "Mark" is the anchor points. That is the right thing to enable in order to see the anchors.

We would have to make a change to allow for Transparent or hollow or something else for the anchors for you to be able to see what you want. We do not know when we would be able get to this, but we understand what you want.
