Hi, for some reason when I go to chart settings and change my data session times to start at 8am EST rather than 820am for Bonds and Gold, the TPO splits out the first 20 minutes of the session. I checked all the settings for my TPO and can't figure out how to correct this.
I am using day session only for the TPO.

See attached

Thanks

Check the Custom Intraday Session Inputs and see if you have those defined with an 8:00 - 8:20 period. If so, then set the Number of Custom Intraday Sessions to 0 to remove those.

I have a related question.

I make the custom sub period 8:00-8:19:59 and it does show if I use Custom Intraday Sessions and set session start time at 8:20 - then the starting TPO starts at 8:20. When I do not use those sessions and have a single profile for the day, letters show for 30 min standard periods. Is there an option to preserve Custom Period as a separate TPO inside a single profile when it's not the first TPO in profile?

Sorry, but we are not really understanding what you are asking.

Our best guess is that you want to have the Custom Sub-Periods set the way you want every time you add the TPO. You can do this one of two ways, depending on whether you want it to be a permanent default, or just something you can select for certain charts.

The first is custom defaults for the study, so every time you add a new TPO study, it will have the settings as you had them when you saved the custom defaults. Refer to the following:
Chart Studies: Using Custom Default Study Settings

The second option is to use a Study Collection, such that you can add the study as you had it setup at any time, but it will not change the defaults when you add the study normally. Refer to the following:
Study Collections
