As long as you are in the same instance of Sierra Chart, the Study Collection will be available to all charts. Therefore, there should not be anything you need to do.

But, in case you are running multiple instances and you need to move the file between the instances, then the Study Collection files are located in the "Data" folder directly under the main Sierra Chart Installation folder (typically C:\SierraChart). You can find the location of this folder by selecting Global Settings >> General Settings and find the folder specified for the Data Files Folder.

The file is the name given the study collection with an extension of .StdyCllct

The study collections are located as files in the 'Data' folder directly under your main Sierra Chart installation. You can find the location of this directory by opening the Global Settings >> General Settings window and it is in the Data Files Folder setting on that page.

The study collections have an extension of .StdyCllct and are named as you named the collection itself when you saved it.

If you are just wanting to apply the Study Collection to another chart that is in the same instance of Sierra Chart, then you just need to follow the instructions at the following link:

The Study Collections as they are listed under the "Analysis" menu are ordered by Alphabetical order. There is no way to change this.

i was able to do all the sorting i needed by creating a google sheet of the 1 mt studies and sorting then any way I needed. i.e by order #,id,descripyion and caculattion order. love it!
fyi in case you wondered, google sheet is no more than an excell spread sheet with a different name and obviate owning a microsoft office to get it.
