Hello, I want to run Sierra on my Desktop PC as well as on my Laptop when I am travelling - I had both running today to test if it works - but I get an error message that the data feed was disconnected due to max device limit 1 see attached screenshot. Could you please let me know how I can possibly solve this issue? |

By default, you are only allowed to connect to the Data Feed with one system at a time. This is a limitation put on by the exchanges. The easiest solution is to simply ensure that you are not running Sierra Chart at the same time on both systems. For the data from the CME Group, however, you can pay to allow two devices to receive data at the same time. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed on Two Computers Simultaneously Note that the ability to receive the data on two different systems at the same time is not allowed for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, from which you are receiving the U.S. Equities data. So for that data, you would need to ensure that you are not connected to the data at the same time from both systems. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
