In SC server settings when I deactivate Subscribe to market by order data when market depth subscribe I still see the correct data in the trading DOM column Combined Bid/Ask Number of Orders. Isn't the data in this column considered market by order data therefore the data should not appear when I deactivate that? Sort of related but in my trading DOM I accidentally had Advanced Settings 3 > Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks set to 1 which was not allowing the numbers to appear in the Combined Bid/Ask Number of Orders column. I thought I would add that in case someone runs into this. Thank you Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-11-15 01:30:26

The Number of Orders is NOT part of the MBO data. Therefore, you will still get it even if you are not setup to get the MBO data. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello. I just read this post and your (John) answer. This is confusing as to that Market By Order shows exactly the number of orders behind the size at each price level. You wrote Number of Orders is not part of the MBO. So what exactly are the Number of Orders in the DOM window ? |

That is the number of individual limit orders, at each price level on the bid and ask side respectively.
