I use the right click function in the trading DOM to perform Move stops to price and Move targets to price. Sometimes when the market is moving fast I click close to the price to move either my stop or limit to the price to flatten or reduce my position. Very often I get this message pop up and it fails to perform the function resulting in me scrambling in that instant. Order modification failed | Reject text: Sell order stop price must be below last trade price. This happens because I click very close to the last traded price in an attempt to move either the attached limit or stop. My question is, is this on the side of the platform or the trading service. (CQG in this case) I could adjust around this by using the scale out feature instead of move attached order to price. Thanks |

That is a Sierra Chart message. But you can get around it by disabling this option: Global Trade Settings Windows: Reject Stop Orders That Will Immediately Fill (Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> General >> Order Entry) But, as the documentation states, you will probably still get the same issue from your trading service.
