welcome I would like to use Denali data for CME but I see that something has changed and now I need to have a futures account connected to the platform. can the account I have in AMP be used for this? what should I do if I do not want to execute orders through SC? I am most interested in the data for ES and NQ kind regards |

Nothing has changed. It is just the CME Group's rule that in order to obtain the data at the non-professional rate, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. Your account at AMP can be used for this, as long as your order routing with AMP is using Rithmic or CQG. If you do not want to place orders through Sierra Chart, then you would keep the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service set to SC Data - All Services and once a month you will need to change that service setting to connect to your AMP account in order to update your verification data for the non-professional status for the CME Group, then you can change your service back to SC Data - All Services. Refer to the instructions at the following link: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees At Step #3 in the above, you would then go through the setup to connect your system to your trading service. The instructions are as follows: - For Rithmic, you would follow these instructions: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions - For CQG, you would follow these instructions: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
