AMP/TTnet - reconnection problem

When I am trading through AMP/TTnet and my internet connection goes down and/or there is a power outage, I am not able to immediately reconnect to TTnet on my backup notebooks (where I am connected through a backup internet provider and a 3G backup internet connection). It seems I always have to wait about one minute until I can connect again. Is there any way to get around this delay?

We think we know the reason. The TT FIX server is waiting for the existing connection to timeout because there was not a clear log out given when your Internet went out or you lost power.

There is no way around this unless you were to request a second set of connection details from your broker, associated with your trading account.

AMP told me TTnet only allows one account connection per account. Should it be possible to still get a second set of credentials for the same account, that allows immediate reconnection without that one minute delay?

I just talked to AMP, no second credentials possible for TTnet. I guess the only solution would be a VPS.

It could be there is only one connection per account. But we know from experience using TT Net, in direct cooperation with TT, that it is possible to be connected to different servers which have access to the same account at the same time.

This is a special set up though, they probably may not provide that or even know how to do it. Please do not ask them about this. We are only just commenting on it. It would only confuse them if you ask them about this. It is not something we expect they would ever provide.

Yes they said only one account connection is allowed with TTnet, and only one pair of credentials. I guess a VPS is the way to go, it would also more or less mean I have server side OCOs...
