I was told by a sierra user that you can replay the chart DOM I would very much like to do this That person said you can also place trades using SIM mode. I just tried to do this on the Trade DOM on ES from Friday 10/1. It seemed like it worked except I could not see any market depth. Only the number 1 and 1 on both Bid and Offer sides. I have service package 5 and CQG datafeed. Does that have anything to do with it ? I tried all the different replay modes and got the same result. Am i overlooking some specific settings in trying to do this ? Is there a way for me to achieve what I am interested in doing ? Thank you Steven Leon |

I am trying to transition away from Jigsaw. Right now i use the Jigsaw DOM with Tradovate market replay. Is there anyway that the Tradovate market replay data can be used with Sierra Charts ? So you dont have to record it ? Does recording the data use a lot of memory ? Thank you Steve |

There is not a way to use Tradovate data in the system. You need to record the Market Depth for the dates for which you want to see the data in the replay. Recording the market depth data takes up some space, but it's mostly drive space that you would have to worry about. You can limit the amount of Market Depth data loaded in chart via the following setting in order to limit the memory usage: Chart Settings: Maximum Market Depth Data Days to Load (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
