Hello, I set the option to "Scroll Wheel Scrolls Chart with Shift Change Spacing." Unfortunately, holding the Shift down while scrolling then does nothing. Also, if I try the opposite setting, the scroll wheel will zoom in, but then holding the shift button will do nothing and will not scroll. Is there perhaps another setting that is blocking this functionality? Thank you, Mike |

There definitely should not be any issue with this. We just tried ourselves to ensure something did not get changed, but it is working as expected. We have to ask the obvious question, are you sure you are holding the "Shift" key and not the "Ctrl" key (this is something we do ourselves sometimes), especially since the Control key is used for other items like the Scaling change. Thank you for your reply! Yes, I definitely was using the shift although I tried both just to be on the safe side. I think I’ll try a different mouse just to rule out any issue with the mouse itself. I’ll reply later after doing that test. Thank you again |

If the chart scrolls normally without the Shift key, then make sure you check your keyboard, and/or ensure that there is not some binding of the Shift key to some hotkey somehow.

I saw in an earlier post another user was facing the same issues while using Parallels. I am using crossover, and any scroll option with shift does not seem to work. Perhaps it is a Mac thing? |

Problem resolved! (This comment is to complete this thread so Sierra do not have to). When using MAC, you can change the various selections under 'Sierra > Global Settings > General Settings > GUI > Scroll Wheel (List)' but then just use the scroll wheel WITHOUT SHIFT or CTRL selected (or the up and down arrow keys for zoom).
