Interactive Brokers - one login, two accounts

Hi,

I am using Interactive Brokers with Denali. I have a configuration where I have a single IB login but multiple accounts. My hope was that I could simply toggle between accounts within Sierra Chart in order to place orders in either account. However, I'm not seeing the other account show up in my trade window.

If this capability is supported, is there documentation to describe how to enable it? (I searched and reviewed the IB setup docs, but couldn't find anything applying to this instance.)

Configuration:
* Connected to TWS login
* SC connected to TWS
* First account shows in Trade Window
* Desired: Show other accounts associated with the login in SC Trade Window account dropdown.

Logging in to a separate instance of Interactive Brokers may be possible, but will cause me to double data fees. Additionally, it's not clear that if I logged in to a second instance of TWS that a second instance of SC would see the other account or just bring up the default account.

Yes. Your link describes the trade window functionality. And, as I mentioned in my post, I'm not seeing the other account in the trade window under my current configuration.

As Tonkadad is referencing, as long as the accounts are all available under the same login to IB, then they should be showing up in Sierra Chart under the Trading Account selection on the Trading Window. Since they are not showing up in there, the thing to check is that the accounts are all linked and available under the one connection you are making to IB.

Yes, they are linked accounts within Interactive Brokers.

Let me do some troubleshooting on the IB side. I'll circle back if it remains unresolved. It's a new account, so, it's possible that it needs some more time in IBs sytem.

Just closing this out. The system needed an extra 24 hours after the account was setup. All good now. Thanks!
