Hi, What's the update interval of cash SPX index available in Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed? Same question for US stocks NYSE and NASDAQ. I'm currently using data feed from IB but it's terribly lagging |

Our data feeds do not have a concept of "Update Interval". In that there is not a set period of time for when the data is sent out to your system and then a pause and another batch, etc. Your system simply requests the live data and then it will be flowing in a steady stream (as it were). The charts themselves, however, do have an "Update Interval", as this is necessary in order to ensure that everything gets updated properly with each update. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

OK, streaming stuff aside. I checked some data providers and they seem to calculate SPX in 15 second intervals. So I can stream "realtime" but that does not matter because I'll get updates only once 15 sec. Can you please confirm do you calculate SPX realtime? Thanks |

Given the streaming data to begin with, the other information is that our data is at the tick level (i.e. every trade). So yes, we calculate in as real-time as possible (given the latency inherent in the Internet and your particular connection).
