Hello, it's well known that IB provide snapshot data feed. I am connecting to tws and downloading minute-based not tick data for my charts. the charts look different when I refresh past data. to alleviate this, I am refreshing the most recent bar each hour or 30-min ('Delete and Download Data'). this works well, but is tedious. after refreshing, the data is solid, but it needs to be refreshed once for every new bar. would be great to have Sierra do ths automatically. also, I remember a setting where the delay time for notices on the chart, like ("Please wait while historical bars downloaded . . .") could be changed. appreciate any help, thanks. chris |

What markets are you looking at through Interactive Brokers? There never has been a setting for the time delay for notices on the chart. I notice it with Globex (ES, NQ) 30-min or 60-min bars, but primarily through Nikkei mini, N225M-201406-OSE.JPN, as well. If I recall it is common problem across all front-ends. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-03-25 21:03:41

For the CME markets we have this alternative data feed that you can use: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php For this market we do not have one: N225M-201406-OSE.JPN Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. yes, i already subscribe. anyway, would be nice to have Sierra reload prior bar at each new one. you could advertise yourself with "Most accurate IB/TWS charts " on the market . . as I say, it is common problem amongst competitors, Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-03-26 02:40:44

Yes we do see that you are subscribed to the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. So you should not have any problem with CME markets. Are you? Or is it just with non-CME markets? Well its with pretty much everything fed through TWS. You support a lot of markets (and where you do it is superior), but until you duplicate everything from IB, we are stuck with TWS for some of the mkts,
