Hopefully SC users can help me to implement the correct alert formula for the following: 1.) I added the "Trading:Profit/Loss Text" indicator to my chart and would like to have an alert sound go off as soon as my loss is greater than a certain amount, but all the formulas don't work; 2.) I added the "Trading:Position" indicator to subgraph 2 in hidden format + added the "Text Display For Study" indicator to subgraph 1 to display the position as number on the main chart -> I would like to have an alert sound go off as soon as the text display indicator is above a certain number, but again all my formulas don't work. Any suggestions? |

1) The Trading: Profit/Loss Text study has no output values. Use the Trading: Daily Profit/Loss study or the Trading: Closed Profit/Loss study instead, with this formula on its own Alerts tab: =SG1>n where n = the P/L value in the format set in Chart >>Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings tab >> Position Profit/Loss dropdown. You can keep the Trading: Profit/Loss Text study, or use the Text Display For Study study on these studies. 2) Use this formula on the Trading: Position study's Alerts tab: =SG1>n where n = the position value Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-03-24 00:14:40
