I had a look at your site and documentation and could not see anywhere where you give a *current* recommendation for hardware specs . Can I suggest you add that to your documentation or web site as I see there are several support board questions sbout this over the years. So right now, what do you recommend as the minimum specs for a desktop PC? I have seen historic comments by SC engineers regarding the type of SSD to get and comments about threads/cores etc. Thanks |

It is not possible for us to give a minimum specification, as there are too many variables. What would work for one person would not work for another, as it depends on your trading methodology and what you need to see and how many charts, etc. Therefore, we will mark this as a User Discussion, and if you give some information on how you use the system, then you can get some opinions from users that also use it in the same way to give you an idea of what would work best for you. One of the items that we can not stress enough is an SSD drive, preferably NVME, as there is a lot of reading and writing for the data, so this is an area where getting the best possible would be helpful, regardless of your trading style.
