How do I create a "dly" file (so I can see daily candlestick data), from intraday data ("scid" file)?

I have a few years worth of 1-minute OHLC data that I imported from CSV using the SC import functionality. When using periods of 4hrs or below, charts load all the data as expected. However, if I switch the period to 'daily' or higher, no data is loaded in the charts.

When you switch to Daily or higher timeframe, the default for Sierra Chart is to change to using daily historical data, which is stored in the .dly files.

If you just want to see the aggregated data from your intraday data as a 1 day chart, then set the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data Type to Intraday Chart Only. This forces the system to only use the intraday data, regardless of the timeframe that you have set for the chart. Refer to the documentation here:
