Hello, I currently am paying for real time data with interactive brokers and with sierra charts. I am wondering if I can stop getting real time data through interactive brokers as I believe that the exchange/stock data I'm getting from sierra charts is better quality and more reliable. Do you have to have both or can I stop paying data fees with interactive brokers? Thanks, |

As long as you are placing your trades through Sierra Chart, then you would not need the Interactive Brokers data. But, if you are placing trades through the Interactive Brokers software, then you would need to continue to get their data as well in order to have the information in that platform.

So to be clear, I am using them as my broker. I place the trade with sierra chart (stocks) and then interactive brokers executes the trade. So I will be ok without their data?
