I am unable to connect to SC Futures Order Routing/Data as DataFeed. I get error " Trade account not assigned". can you please help? Thank you! I did validate my amp account . Not sure what I need to do. I have been using jigsaw dom. Trying to move to Sierra Chart DOM. |

If your trading account is with AMP, you need to have AMP set you up on CQG. And then when they do that you need to follow the instructions here: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions You will still continue to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for data. For now, set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service to "SC Data-All Services". And translate the symbols with Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. You will then be able to have access to the data and if you just want to use Sierra Chart for charting only, there is nothing further you need to do. You do not need CQG. I followed instructions here : CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions I can get live trading. The depth of DOM is just 1 . How can I get minimum 10 ? When I set up CQG under Common Settings I changed "Maximum Time & Sales Depth Levels to 10 . Still I see depth of 1 in DOM . How can I fix that. |

You need to activate the exchange fee which includes market depth data. Would like to confirm if my understanding is correct . [1] When I entered CQG credentials in "Current Selected Service" , I was able to do live trading . So I guess depth of data comes from CQG which AMP has setup for me. Is it correct ? When I used same credentials with Jigsaw DOM I received full depth. [2] When I entered "SC-Data All Services" in "Current Selected Service" , the DOM changes to simulated account. I guess thats because only market data is received. Is it correct ? Do I still need to subscribe to the full market depth data from Sierra here : https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/RealTimeDataFeedsAvailableFromSierraChart.php#AddingCMEMarketDepth. |

[1] The data you are getting is from the Denali Exchange Data Feed, since that is what you have setup. The data feeds from us are going to take precedence over the data from your trading service, if you have the data from us setup. You may be setup to get both right now. We would recommend discontinuing the CQG data if you do not need it. [2] Correct, when you are connected to SC Data - All Services you are not connected to a trading service, therefore you can only trade in Simulation mode. My CQG credentials are still used. As you suggested if I stop the CQG feed from AMP , how will I do live trading . I still cannot use "SC Futures Order Routing/Data" . |

Sierra Chart still needs to be set to CQG and you will receive the Denali Exchange Data Feed. So to clarify my understanding : [1] In order to live trade I still need CQG credentials. Pay for that data with AMP. [2] Even though CQG data can give more depth , Sierra Chart data feed overrides CQG data feed. Because of this override I need to get CME full depth with Sierra chart . So I end up paying two feeds to do live trading . Am I understanding this correct ? If this is correct, how can I avoid Sierra Chart data feed override. I do not see value in paying two data feeds to do live trading. |

Your basic understanding is not correct. You can get the data from us (through the Denali Exchange Data Feed) and NOT get the data from CQG and still be able to trade using CQG as your order routing service. Also, the Denali Exchange Data Feed has up to 1400 levels of Market Depth for the CME Group data, so you get more market depth information from us. Therefore, we recommend the following: [1] You still need your CQG credentials to trade. But you do not need to pay for the data from AMP. [2] Sierra Chart data feed overrides the CQG data feed. You can get the full depth with Sierra Chart data. ---------------------- We will also state the following. At this point in time, you could get your data from CQG and not use the Denali Exchange Data Feed. That is an option as well. We do not recommend it though, as you get more market depth and more historical data from us. Also, since it is our data feed, you are going to have fewer issues with the data feed, as it is fully integrated with our software. Iam doing a follow up to make sure I get this correct . Currently my account says I have "11- Advanced + Denali data feed" . Does that mean I get realtime CBOT, CME, MYMEX, COMEX futures data ? Or is there something I need to do ? Or do I need to pay more ? On AMP , I have CQG with CME data . In "Trade Settings" , I use CQG login info . Iam getting live data for CME. Not sure whether this is CQG data or Denali feed taking precedence. |
