What I would like to do is import Option Volume data and display it on a stock chart. Does Sierra Chart support that functionality? |

Refer to the information here for importing data: Exporting and Importing Intraday Data Files: Import and Load There are several links in that section to information on the Text/CSV Data Format. You will want to select that link to see what formats are supported. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I already looked at those. They only seem to support pre-defined fields. I want to be able to import custom fields as an Indicator like RSI or MACD but instead of calculating the indicator from available fields like Open , Close, etc., I want to import the indicator from a CSV file. For example, I might have a CSV file with the date and the Put Option volume for a stock and I would like to display that as a bar chart (like regular trading volume) in a panel below the stock price chart. |

To do something like what you are wanting would require you to program a custom study. Refer to the information starting here: Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL): Introduction For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

You definitely have to follow the required file formats supported. You can use the fields to contain whatever data you want. They will be drawn as a normal bar chart. There is a volume field.
