Hello SC team, in a study "Spreadsheet System for Trading" currently there are up to 60 "number of formula columns", but settings for "Alert columns" restricted up to Z column. I have no chance to disable sound alert if I have in column AI=C3+10 and want just to show its value on a chart. Today, on each bar it's recognized as not false and triggers sound alert. Basically I can't use full power of 60 formula columns.. Please see attached screenshot for what I mean. (edited: I found I reported this already sometime ago in this topic: remarks on new non-.net platform but here I'm talking about .NET platform) Could you please consider to upgrade this. Thank you very much! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-03-11 21:34:10

We understand what you are requesting. We will see about this. For now set the Column V-Z Alert input to No Alert. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hi Tom, I've read what you suggested (section 3), but still can't make it working. Maybe problem due to the fact that I have one "Spreadsheet System for Trading" for 3 different charts, thus Sheet1, Sheet2 and Sheet3 have formulas in cell AA3. When I'm setting up "Spreadsheet System for Trading" for particular chart, in Alert tab for this study, I tried both and =AA3 (I use .NET version of SC) and =ID2.SG17, but nothing works. (ID2, is id of the study). Did I miss anything? Thanks for your support, Tom. |

The =ID2.SG17 needs to be on the Alerts tab of any other study (not the spreadsheet study), or on the Alerts tab of the Chart Settings. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-04-01 23:36:09

You are right, I missed that "any other study" word! and thought if ID2.SG17 has value TRUE it will trigger an alert... thanks one more time! |

to SC team: you see, using a formula in Alert tab I'm getting an alert in case result of whole formula is TRUE, for example: OR(ID2.SG17<>FALSE,ID2.SG18<>FALSE,ID2.SG7<>FALSE) is TRUE the problem is that I can't know which exactly subgraph returned TRUE. In my case I'm monitoring results of more than one subgraph in columns > Z. SC team, I have to ask one more time and emphasize that individual alerting per subgraph is necessary very much. It would be very nice if you inform me/us how serious you are about this implementation. Moreover, I think it will be critical when you introduce sms alert system. BTW, are there any update on SMS Alert functionality? by chance want to thank you for all previous support you provided. |

We will get to this when we can. We just have an enormous amount of work to do.
