[Programming Help] - Color wick independently of body outline

Dear Development. Is it possible to have an option to color the wicks independently as shown here https://prnt.sc/123hpph? Currently the outline option includes the body of the candle and the wick. Thanks. |

It is possible to do what you want. You need to uncheck this option: Graphics Settings: Color Candlestick High-Low Using the Outline Colors (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other) Then set both Bar High-Lows to gray, and the candlestick Outlines to the same color as the candlestick Fills. |

The option to uncheck the color candle wicks is greyed out and can't be unchecked. My wicks are blue but the candles are red and green. How do I fix this?

You need to select "Global Settings >> Graphics Settings - Global" and then uncheck the option on the "Other" tab. You can not change those items per chart on the Chart Graphics Settings page.

That doesn't change anything. See the attached screenshot please and advise on how to get the green/up bars to have green wicks and borders.

You have a Hekin-Ashi study that is drawing those lines in that particular coloring. You also have the Heikin-Ashi set to only be HL Bars, which if that is what you want, then that is fine, but you will need to determine the colors in the Subgraphs for the High and Low as you want them for the Heikin-Ashi study.

That must have come over from the chart I copied and tried to change. I've looked in the obvious places, but no luck - where do I find those settings?

The easy solution is to remove the Heikin-Ashi if you do not want it, that will remove those wicks. Otherwise, it is the color of the subgraphs for the Heikin-Ashi study that needs to be changed (specifically the High and Low).
