Im new to sierra charts and currently trying to create a top chartbook without success, I went through documentation but I'm not getting the results I need any help maybe any of sierra support can provide me a chartbook that includes the following: Trading Index ES NQ My global time is set to Chicago time. The chart needs to display 2 profiles RTH and ON: RTH - Print letters VAL VAH POC IB VAl + VAH highlighted Green ON/Globex Same as above but VAL and VAH highlighted a different color. |

You would have to use a second chart and put the TPO Value Area Lines study on that chart for the overnight session and then set to the colors you want. Then use the Study/Price Overlay to overlay those Value Area Lines onto the TPO chart. I have been given some charts from my mentor and they are worked on EST time frame, I have heard that if there is any time setting off this will give wrong data, is it true? if yes, what's the best practice to make sure everything is set up correctly? |

The time zone setting only has an issue at the Daylight Saving changes, since the US changes at a different day from most of the rest of the world. Therefore, in order to avoid issues at those days, we recommend setting your time zone to one of the US time zones (typically Eastern or Central, as these are where the main exchanges are located). Otherwise, there is no issue with the time zone and data.
