Tools settings in global and chart won't save

Every time I try to change the tool settings under Global tool settings as well as tool settings in the chart they default back to the original values. For example I am trying to change the "After single tool use change to." the crosshair and it defaults back to None. Thank you for any suggestions. |

We are not able to reproduce this. Make sure you are selecting the OK button when you close the window after you make the change. Do you have the same problem with colors under Global Settings >> Graphics Settings? If you change a color in there, does it stay the color you set, or does it change back to the original as well? Basically, we are wondering if you somehow do not have permissions to write the Sierra4.config file.
