I have a funded trading account with Dorman as the clearing firm. Tradovate is the broker. I do not need to connect anything for the sake of placing orders through Sierra, as I am fine to place my orders through tradovate.

My question is, how do I have my funded Dorman account linked to SC so that I can receive real time cme market depth data via Denali in my sierra account? I am very confused and it seems like there are 50 steps to simply just obtain realtime dom data through Denali for CME group. I paid for the advanced + denali package ($46) and also have enabled the CME group package which is another 30 something a month. Am I set or what else do I need to do to get this working correctly?

Yes there certainly are a lot of steps. All of this is explained here:
Is Historical and Real-time Futures Data Included?

What you need to do in your case is contact tradeovate and have them set you up with a CQG account and then connect to that once a month to authorize the CME data. Refer to:
CQG Trading Platform Service
