Volume profile on time bars not matching VP on volume bars

Hi support, I have a volume by price study on a 5 minute chart, in addition to that, I use a 200 volume chart for execution. Today I used the Draw Volume Profile tool on the 200 volume chart and noticed that the profile on the time based chart didn't match the profile on the volume chart. Any thoughts or advise to fix this? Thanks! |

Your Volume by Price would have to cover the exact same time frame in both charts in order for them to be the same. And the chances that a 200 volume bar starts or ends at exactly the same time as the time-based chart is nil. They could be similar, again as long as the timeframes covered are similar, but it is doubtful they could be the same.
