Trading during ETH

Hi there, so sorry to bother you as i think this may be an easy fix but just not been able to sort out. I am currently on sim trading mode (not sure if that's relevant) but I can't seem to trade during Electronic Trading Hours. I'll hit buy or sell and nothing happens - how can i enable trading during the ETH period?

After you try to make a trade, open your Trade Service Log and copy and paste all the information in there to this thread. Refer to the following:

Hi, I have tried placing a trade this morning during ETH and reviewed the Trade Activity Log - nothing is shown. Any suggestions?

There must be something showing. How exactly did you submit the order? Follow the instructions here:

Well, this is the issue. I open up my trade window for the chart and during ETH hours I'll hit buy or sell and nothing happens. So nothing appears on the Trade Activity Log. As soon as ETH ends I'm then able to place orders and everything works fine.

But I know traders that are able to place orders as per normal during ETH hours and I dont understand why I'm not able to - even in SIM mode.

What are your Session Times set to for your chart?

Open the Trade Window for the chart. Instructions:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Opening Trade Window for Chart or Trade DOM

And press the Buy Market button.

You should see the position quantity increase or decrease if the position quantity is already short:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Position Quantity@Price: / P: (Compact tab)

Verify this is the case.
