April 1st was a holiday, most commodities traded that day but for a shorter period of time.
On the daily charts there is a candle on that day but the volume shows zero, which is wrong and also screws up the volume moving average (see the bottom of the screenshots).
Is there anything I can change in the configuration so that the volume will show the correct number?

What you are seeing is related to your data feed. You would need to talk to your data provider about that.

The following is an image of CLK21 with the Denali Exchange Data Feed from us, which is showing the volume for April 1st.

Another option you have would be to completely remove the April 1, 2021 data by setting it as a date to exclude. Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Set Dates To Exclude (Button) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Chart Data menu)
