For /GC my chart prices doesn't show up as candlesticks but mostly as horizontal dashed lines with large gaps in-between. I'm on a trial and this platform looked like it has some nice potential. But this charting of price action isn't helpful for me to trade. Am I missing something?

It sounds like you are not looking at the current contract for GC. You should be using the M contract.

It looks like your Service is set to SC Data - All Services, in which case the symbol would GCM21-COMEX.

Also refer to the Continuous Futures Contracts information here:

Thank you for your repy John. I completed the agreements for delayed exchange data as instructed. I do show a GCZ20-COMEX [M] 1 min in the upper right corner. I'm still seeing horizontal dashes instead of candlestick patterns. I did attempt to proceed as instructed by going to global settings > general trade settings. But "Allow Support for SC data feeds" was not an option either.

I should probably be clear about my purpose. I would like to practice my simulated trading setups at higher speeds to improve my execution. My setup utilizes primarily the hull, keltner channels, moving averages, stochastic crossover on the 1, 5, 60 min charts. If it is possible to utilize the system for this purpose- I remain very interested in this service.

Thank you

That is a contract from 2020. You need the current contract which is GCM21-COMEX.

Go to chart > chart settings and input the symbol in the bottom left and click find.

You can also change the symbol for the current chart using the methods described here:
Changing the Symbol of a Chart

And you can look at previous contracts, you will just need to go back to the time when they were active to see the data.

And again, look at the Continuous Futures Contract chart option:

Thank you! Very helpful!

Spent a couple hours creating a study set- but can't seem to save it when I name it and enter either "Save Single" or "Save All" and apply it to a new chartbook. What am I doing wrong. I'd hate to lose it and have to remake it again.

Also, how can I create both 1 min and 5 min charts on the same "desktop" that replay together concurrently?

We do not know what you mean when you say "Study Set". Perhaps you are referring to a Study Collection, in which case refer to the following:
Study Collections

Or, you may be looking for information on the concept of Chart Templates, in which case refer to the following:
Using Chart Templates

To have a 1 min and 5 min chart you just create both in the same Chartbook and then you can replay them together. Refer to the Replay options here:
Replaying Charts

Also refer to the Window layout options starting here:
Window, CB and CW Menus: Tile Horizontally (Window)
