First off, I appreciate you all at Sierra Charts and everything you do. I have searched and I cannot find an answer for the past couple of hours going through the admin posts on the TT change with AMP - I cannot seem to figure a couple of things out.

I look at data and trade on Sierra Charts software and I am connected to CQG which leads to my first question.

1. If I am connected to CQG on my Sierra Chart platform through the Global Data/Trade Services, does that mean I am not getting the Denali Data? I do pay for the package 11 advanced.

2. Am I using the best/optimal order/data services available as an Amp Client (I do not want to go through switching brokers at this time) that only trades Nasdaq and S&P micro and mini futures?

3. I read the admin post where you all were working with AMP on potentially supporting Sierra Chart direct CME order routing. This is not available yet, right?

Thank you!

1. As long as you have the Denali Exchange Data Feed setup correctly and the option for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is set to Yes, then you will get the Denali Data.

2. If you do not want to switch brokers then you are using the best option available for Sierra Chart with AMP (that is, using CQG for order routing with the Denali Exchange Data Feed).

3. The Direct CME Order Routing is not available yet. Refer to the following:

I'm setup with the same configuration Denali Data and AMP CQG for trading. I have only simulated trading using your trade simulation server although I'm close to wanting to trade with a live account, but I'm concerned with the discussion here about the problems with CQG order routing. I saw on AMPS website that it says the options are CQG or Rithmic when using Sierra Charts. Do you support Rithmic for routing orders is that more reliable then CQG?

At this point, you need to stay with CQG.

Rithmic is working on a new interface to Sierra Chart for which we are starting to do testing. Once that new interface is available, then that may change the situation, but until then, stay with CQG.

For some reason, I am not getting data for exchanges other than CME. I have package 11 advanced (well, just now I opted to try the trial for package 12) but the same thing happened the other day when I was on 11 advanced. When I was using TT and 11 advanced before I remember I had no issue checking crude oil for example. Also, I checked and I have "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" set to Yes. Is there something I am not paying for or have set up properly?

Most of the markets are closed for the Easter Holiday weekend. Including the CME Group, which shut down at 08:15 CDT today.

Given this, are you still having an issue? If so, what is it?

Yes, i am aware. This is happening when markets are open and closed, Orange box appears saying the symbol is not supported and real-time data is unavailable. I can only see data for CME.

Also, it shows EP instead of ES for the Emini s&p which is the way CQG does it from what I understand. But shouldn't my data be Denali which uses ES?

You have only activated the following exchange as part of the Denali Exchange Data Feed:
- CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts

Therefore, you will only get Real-Time data for the symbols traded on the CME Exchange and Globex. You will find that list of symbols here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChart_RealTime_And_Historical_Symbols.php&SymbolsPage=Futures#CME

and here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChart_RealTime_And_Historical_Symbols.php&SymbolsPage=Futures#GBLX

The system is then expecting the other data to come from your CQG connection, which it sounds like you are not setup to get data from.

If you want the rest of the CME Group symbols, but do not need Market Depth for all of them, then just add the Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for nonprofessional Trading accounts exchange. It is $3.25 per month. You will get Market Depth for the data from the CME and Globex exchanges still.

When your service is set to CQG, you use the CQG symbols. You are getting your data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed, but we take care of handling the symbol translations for you.
