Hi, I'm trading the Nasdaq using Rithmic data. I would like to be able to read the footprint data better. Because of the 0.25 tick size and the large amount of range NQ covers its very difficult. Is there a way I can switch it 1 point per tick and have the data for the 0.25 tick levels aggregate into 1 point per tick? (I wouldn't be trading off of that chart, I'd like to use a 10 point range bar with only 10 price levels to read the imbalances, etc)

If so, please instruct me how to achieve this. Thanks.

Under chart settings, center left...change tick size to whatever you like. Works great.

Also consider the volume at price multiplier - Chart Settings: Volume at Price Multiplier for Historical/Intraday Chart (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Volume at Price menu)

Is there any performance advangage of using one or the other?
What's the difference if I group ticks from "volume at price multiplier" or "tick size" ?

There is not a performance difference, but changing the Volume at Price Multiplier only affects the volume data for items such as Numbers Bars, TPOs, and Volume By Price Profiles. But changing the Tick Size affects not only the volumes, but also the prices that you see. So it really depends on how you want to view the information.

Is it possible to change the tick size and / or the size of a range bar for a footprint chart via a custom ASCIL script?
I am a developer so I can figure out the implementation though if there are any existing functions that are built for this / documentation I could utilize for this that would be very helpful.
I'm really wondering if it's possible at all and if so are there existing functions I can utilize to explore this.
