1) What is the general alert formula to describe a function of study line 1 crossing study line 2 upward or study line line 1 crossing study line 2 downward? 2)How can I create an alert formula by using studies of different charts within a chartbook? Thx |

Here are some examples from the documentation: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_AlertCondAndScan.html#examples 1) =CROSSOVER(SG1,SG2) The CROSSOVER function works both directions. 2) Use the Study/Price Overlay study on the destination chart and then create the alert formula. |

ad 1) Thx for the answer, but how can I create an alert for CROSSOVER (SG1,SG2) from below and CROSSOVER(SG1,SG2) from above? Would like to distinguish between the 2 alerts. Thx |
