Good day I have questions about testing and trading. There are many changes going on in the Sierra chart and I would need your recommendation. I don't want to pay unnecessarily for something I don't have to. I have been using Sierra chart for a long time the Standard version is enough for me. Please excuse my bad English. My English is not the best and I'm starting to get lost in the text on yor site to understand everything correctly. I solve two situations: 1. I would like to start programming my strategy in Sierrachart. I don't need real data for this, but I need a strategy to test for accurate tick data. 2. Recommendations for live trading Currently my broker is GainCapital and I use his data to Sierrachart. I trade emini/micro NQ, ES. However, I don't have the historical data from GainCapital to test the strategy. In addition, GainCapital has a higher commission and I am considering an AMP or other broker. What solution would be best for me ? - 2 variants: 1) test my strategy on tick data for as little money as possible (I don't need live data) 2) test my strategy on tick data for as little money as possible (I don't need live data) and at the same time to be able to trade live emini/micro NQ, ES? Which broker would you recommend to me? Do you recommend using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 for programming my strategy? Which version you recommend please? First. In terms of programming your strategy for as low a cost as possible. You have access to the Delayed Streaming data for the CME Group and EUREX. This is tick-by-tick data, it is exactly the same as the real-time data, only delayed by 10 minutes and 10 seconds for the CME Group and 15 minutes for the EUREX. Therefore, we recommend just using this data. For more information, refer to the following: Delayed Exchange Data Feed But, you also state that you want to make trades, which would imply the need for Real-Time data. If you do need real-time data for your trading, then refer to the following for what is available from Sierra Chart: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart ----------------------- We do not recommend brokers.
