SC billing for SC account through AMP

I have had a broker independent license of SC since 2007. When I opened an account with AMP in 2014 I was provided with an additional free SC license which I never used. AMP has now billed my account with 22 USD for this previously free version of SC that I didn't even know still existed. There was no notice of this transition from a free version of SC to billing through broker for march 2021. I had no chance to have the license cancelled/disabled in time to prevent billing. Only 22 USD, I know, but still, it would have been a good idea if AMP and SC had informed customers directly per email that previously free versions of SC will be billed through their broker accounts in march.

This makes no sense to us at all. What is that 22 USD for? AMP needs to explain this and why they billed you that. We have absolutely no idea. If you were not using your Sierra Chart account from AMP in March, there would have been no billing. And even if you did, and you were using the Standard Sierra Chart package, AMP would not have billed you either. There was no notice of this transition from a free version of SC to billing through broker for march 2021.
There was a notice given by email and also through the system notification window. What is your AMP account number?However, this is really not relevant. This is also not true: that previously free versions of SC will be billed through their broker accounts in march.

I opened an account support ticket before, I sent you the AMP bill as attachment there (Ticket ID: 1615430269678). Again: AMP billed me for a free SC AMP license that was given to me in 2014 when I opened my AMP account. I logged in for the first time in 6 or 7 years this week, disabled the AMP affiliation and disabled package 10. I emailed AMP about this but no answer and no refund so far. I have had this broker independent license of SC since 2007, so never needed the free AMP version of SC. |

If that account was on package 10 and we do not know why it was, we would have to look, that would explain the billing. Package 10 is not free. As it includes the Denali Exchange Data Feed. We do have a request from AMP for the refund and we will take care of that.

Yes it was on package 10. As said before, I never used that account, and never subscribed to package 10. I only logged in once now to disable services and disable AMP affiliation.

I never requested activation of SC package 10/Denali, I do not use that license (AC92576). The only license I use is this broker independent license through which I am posting now and that I have had since 2007

The billing was NOT a result of my logging into Sierra Chart, I only logged in AFTER they billed me in order to disable AMP affiliation and wrongly activated services. We do have a request from AMP for the refund and we will take care of that
So far still no refund to my AMP account... Update: 22 USD refunded today Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-03-26 08:24:25
