Hi Support, Is there any way to modify Bill Williams Fractals Indicator so it can be based on 3 bars not 5? Or is there another Indicator that can be modified to indicate fractals based on 3 bars please? Thank you! Mila |

The code for Bill Williams Fractals is available in the Studies6.cpp file in the ACS_Source file under your main Sierra Chart installation. You can modify the code as you want. I took the Studies6.cpp and modified it to allow for a variable number of candles to be chosen. So now, you can type in 3 or 5 or really anything you wish. I renamed it as Variable Bar Fractals for the study and the DLL is called Variable Bar Fractal Modification of Bill William. To use: 1. Drop my_variable_bar_fractal.cpp into your ACS_Sources folder. 2. Open Analysis > Build Advanced Custom Studies 3. Select the cpp file 4. Click Build in the menu. 6. Open Chart Studies for the chart where you want to use it 7. Choose Add Custom Study. 8. Open the knot for Variable Bar Fractal Modification of Bill Williams 9. Select Variable Bar Fractals 10. Click add and then set the settings you wish. |
