I really like the fact that Sierrachart has a backup folder where important files are automatically copied. One thing that I think would be very useful, and I can't find it, is the ability to select where to put the backup folder. It would be great if I could put it on a different drive or the cloud so that the backup function could be fully automatic. Thank you Mauro |

This is not controllable. We will have to see about that in another release. What you can do for now is write an operating system script that copies files from that folder to another system. What about a command for backing up where users can select where to backup files and the press of one button and sierra Chart automatically backs up what needs to be backed up and copies all the backup files to a folder of choice on the hard drive or wherever? Thanks |

Yes we can do this but for now create your own operating system script file to copy the files you want. Just as easy for you to do this as well.

I would if I knew what an operating system script file was! Lol, I have no clue how to begin! |

I just found FreeFileSync and it seem to work for it. It has a friendly interface and you can easily set it up to sync directories at certain times and it is free.
