hi, i have some questions about this option. for now i have thisone: 1) if i have continuous futures contract am i somehow able to show "rollover line" i mean, i would like to see what date was rollover. so may i show some vertical line like that? 2) there is "automatically rollover futures contract" option in chart settings. my question is how does this work. i mean when does it work. on LTD or 1 day before lTD or when and how 3) if i check continuous futures contract why is slow data loading? is it something what has to be? i mean i alredy have these daily data in my computer so why is slow data loading? could be some better and faster way? thx Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-04-20 15:57:46

1. No. 2. This has now been documented in Chart >> Chart Settings: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#AutomaticallyRollover 3. The method that is used is a time-consuming process. It cannot be made any faster. For an alternative, refer to this page: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails51.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. ok, i see. one less question. if i make my own file with continuouls contract - for example CL (crude oil) and than i will open current month CL-201306-NYMEX (i use interactive rokers) is it going to work? i mean i will have very long file (10years) and i expect that is going to downloud current mont. and next month and another month. i just want to see long past and i also want to have current month and day. and i also believe that would be faster than continuous contract from IB - there would be many many months and also files. is it workoning like that? or making this 10 years file is unprodactive?

You cannot do a 10 year continuous futures contract chart with Interactive Brokers. Do not even bother trying. You can get a 10 year Historical Daily Continuous futures contract chart by using the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service.
