I created a subaccount with AMP today with SC/CQG setup. Just wondering, since the data for this setup is through the SC feed, how do i know when there is a problem with the CQG connection/order routing? I assume the SC feed would continue, is there any immediate message alert provided in such a case?

If the connection is lost to the Trading server, the data feed will continue as long as you do not select File >> Disconnect.

You will know you lost the connection to the Trading server by looking at the Status Bar below the main menu. It will be yellow and say either Connecting or Waiting to Reconnect.

lucas,
that is my intention as well but had hard time trying to get an answer from the support at amp. Finally they suggested I contact SC but I am not sure why?
so could you confirm that you can access SGX and SFE exchanges?
thanks

SGX and SFE:
When you create your subaccount with AMP, the SFE Box is already checked, no monthly fee, the SGX would be 68 usd extra. But the problem is, the SC data feed does currently not offer SFE and SGX, so trading these markets through SC/CQG would not work.

Currently with the support Sierra Chart has for CQG, SGX and SFE are not supported at this time.

We could add the symbols for trading these, but you would have no market data.

Thanks Lucas
Thank you Engineering that would be great as it would be almost an equivalent to Ninja connection with AMP
