No it does not say that. Although in your case since you are using the Denali Exchange Data Feed, the price you pay is currently, this March, 36 USD per month. If you were not notified of that, AMP should have. And once again this goes back to the fundamental problem. There should not be a broker in the middle of this. It is not really their fault because they are getting in the middle of something, that they should not be. We should actually have probably notified you directly. But we left this to the brokers since they are doing the billing. And once we have our standardized prices fully applied that price will come down some. Price still to be determined. So AMP will take $36 tomorrow and by April 1st. I need to fund an SC account for all future payments?

Well you should get billed 36 USD at some point. We do not know when that would be. I need to fund an SC account for all future payments? You will still use the same Sierra Chart account and we will give you the transition date in advance. That is still not definitely set.

Since AMP apparently hasn't notified their customers who are using SC, this is going to come as a bit of a shock because that almost doubles what we were paying. But you have to do what you feel best for your business model. I'll watch for the transition date. |

I guess I am on the same situation. I was hoping I would be notified by them. The weird thing is that it seems I am not able to setup properly ( like in january, where I would choose denali+which market data I would want ) and no mention of any costs. I have a previous account that I had setup earlier and which I used before AMP. I would rather use that account and pay for 6 month directly, instead of month to month. How can I do this and not be "charged twice" ? |

How can I do this and not be "charged twice" ? Stay with the account you are currently using. We will be providing instructions later today for AMP users on direct paying for Sierra Chart starting in April. Everyone will just continue to use the same account.

Hi SC, In this thread which is locked (Notice to AMP Users. Clearing up Confusion.) in post #1 you say that you have not provided ANY notification to AMP users through the System Notification Window about anything. Well just FYI there is something funny going on: attached is a screen grab of the Notification Window on start up which says AMP users are required to upgrade to a later version. But the strange thing is when you click on the link to read this message in a web page it makes no mention of this AMP requirement (see 2nd attachment)???? |
