Hello

i saw the update you have done in dew version ago with this message :

In this version, it is no longer supported to trade from a chart or trade DOM that uses data from a source instance that has a different decimal point position compared to the same symbol for the destination instance where the trading is being performed from. If you are using IQ Feed as a source instance with Interactive Brokers as the destination trading instance, then the changes will not affect you. One configuration that is no longer supported is IQ Feed as a source instance and TT FIX as a destination trading instance and performing trading from a chart or Trade DOM that uses remote instance data. Data sharing is still fully supported, but the trading functionality where there are decimal point differences, is where the limitation is.

Can i trade with AMP TT NET and IQFEED as data or no ? and if it's yes, how can i set this up ?

Thanks

Yes, my current setup is AMP/TTNet (destination 2nd instance of SC) with IQFeed (remote 1st instance of SC).

But as of yesterday for ES charts I am using only the AMP/TTNet symbol for the ES (ES-201403-CME) with "Allow support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" checked in File>>Data Trade Services Settings --- Service: AMP/TTNet [trading] so I can trade from chart if I want to.

My understanding is that historical ES data is now coming from the SC Historical service with this chart setup and solves the issue highlighted by you above.

My plan is to go 100% SC but will continue to pay for IQFeed until NYSE Global Composite Volume is included in an SC service. I find the global composite volume very valuable and have two charts referencing global volume spreadsheets.

Good Luck!

This is not supported any longer if you are going to be trading from a chart using data from a remote instance of Sierra Chart, if there are decimal point differences.

Besides, the easiest thing to do is to use the Sierra Chart data feed for better quality data:

This is not correct and we do not recommend relying on this because it is not accurate. The "Allow support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" option is not relevant with this kind of configuration. It is only relevant when using the Sierra Chart Real-time and Historical Data Feed. Your conclusion about how this works is not documented anywhere.

thanks for the above!

With an AMP/TTNet instance of SC can I select ES-201403-CME with the "Chart Settings" "Symbol:" "Find" box and trade from that chart?

Yes. But the chart will be using the TT FIX data.
