dear all, I am trying to set up on Sierra the Volume Imbalance of Market Delta. Could you please tell me if there is a function that can shows the x% more volume traded on the bid and x% more volume traded on the ask. x : represents a percentage for example 300% or 500%. If anyone knows how to do, please let me know. Marc |

The Sierra Chart Numbers Bars study can do this. We are going to be working on documentation for this because this question has been coming up recently.

We are not quite sure how well you understood the documentation at the time we posted it. We have done further documentation updates and have provided step-by-step instructions for this feature. This capability is fully supported in Sierra Chart and is known as a Numbers Bars Diagonal Dominant Side coloring. "Diagonal" will be the new term to describe it since it is a very intuitive way to understand rather than the term "auction". Here are the step-by-step instructions to use this feature: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_NumbersBars.php#DiagonalComparison The percentages can be changed. So you can program any percentage comparisons that you require. The documentation refers to version 1114 terminology. Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Prerelease. The answer we have given in the post above is a standard response we have been giving in several threads asking similar questions. We are not sure whether you want to do a diagonal comparison of the bid volume and ask volume or only at the same price level. You can do a comparison at the same price level. In this case you just need to use a Column 1 Text Coloring method of Text on Dominant Side Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
