Prior to January of this year it seems while using version 2807, I think, whenever I opened the software it seemed to take I would guess about five to ten seconds or so. It seemed to open pretty fast. Now using version 2226 and after January it takes exceedingly long! I didn't notice earlier because I had the software running twenty four hours for about a month. But, now that I updated it and shut it down both the default Chartbook layout and mine take an exceedingly long timed to open. With the Example Chartbook layout this morning I finally took the time to timed it and it took about 10 minutes to clear from a No Response state and another five minutes to load the default layout while trying to connect, download and display the layout. After closing it, and opening my layout it took a similar amount of time. It took about eleven minutes to clear from a No Response error state with a turning hour glass cursor and another four minutes to connect, load the layout and download the data before everything was functional! In all, I think I wasted close to a half hour while waiting on a unresponsive Sierra after the opening bell!
