I am using the CQG data feed for the Sierra Chart. My computer has a Hong Kong public IP. When it was connected to CQG, it was connected to the IP 118.201.11.218, which is a server located in Singapore. I thought it will be automatically connect to the nearest CQG server, but obviously it was not! Therefore I sent an email to CQG and they advised my to connect to api-hongkong.cqg.com, not the default api.cqg.com (see attached reply from CQG) May I know how I can connect to api-hongkong.cqg.com in Sierra Chart? Is there any setting that can allow me to connect to the Hong Kong server of CQG? Thank you in advance! |

There is not a way to change this within Sierra Chart but you can edit your operating system hosts file, and remap api.cqg.com to the IP used by api-hongkong.cqg.com.
