Hello, liking the FXCM data service. Only one issue. I have chartbook with several daily charts of various currencies. I am in EST time zone. At 5 pm or near that time presumably, FXCM creates new daily bars. Unfortunately, although the bar is updating, it is combining yesterday's and today's bar into one. If I manually delete and download say last three days, the additional new bar after 5 pm is shown as normal. I have to do this everyday.

There are two solutions to this:

Just after 5 PM select Edit >> Download Data for All Historical Charts.

Ok, I set up session start times for a few of the crosses. here is what happens:

for the symbols that have new bar at 5 pm. a new bar does start. however it is duplicate of just finished daily bar, until the normal start time of 12 am, at which point the bar gets converted to encompass only the activity since 5 pm.

for symbols whose sessions have not been modified per the link you posted, current price activity is reflected in the same bar, until 12 am, at which point, all the activity since 5 pm is converted into a new daily bar.

i can of course, manually refresh the latest bars everyday, but for 50 - 60 crosses, this gets cumbersome.

interestingly, a new bar starts at 5 pm on Sun, and an additional new daily bar is created at midnight, no matter what the time settings for a symbol. this only happens at the Sun. - Mon. transition.

We made a small change on the server which should resolve this.

Hopefully, tomorrow, at 5 PM New York time you should see a new bar and it will be a smaller range.

If this does not work, then we recommend changing the session times to start at 6 PM. An hour later.

There is also a setting in Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings to combine or separate Sunday and Monday Daily bars.
